In my day 1968–70 in the. Nam it was a demo knife, Shikok watch and the Lindy Blue Star Sapphire ring. Paid only $326 a month it’s all we could afford. Had all three. Yes, today it/s a Rolex. In the field I carried this knife at the time it looked brand new. Photo taken after my return.

Sir, While I do not know of the star sapphire ring, I was issued a Randall model 14 ( somewhere in storage ) and a Rolex GMT master ( still have it due to S-4 being a close friend) which we who had them never wore during an op due to their metallic shine
I was also given a couple plaques ( we all paid into a fund that paid for them ) only part of one
I still retain . Others were thrown away by wife number two after telling her I intended to file for divorce.
