Here you might mean two things, either this;
What was the most important kunai throw in Naruto?
Or,
Which type of kunai was most effective?
I’m gonna answer both. For the first one, this felt like the most important kunai throw in the series;
Kakashi’s lightning style kunaii against Obito. In the last panel you can see Kakashi throwing a lightning powered kunai thrown towards Obito, ( who was known as masked man at that time). This throw was the most significant kunai throw in the series.
Why was it so important?
That is because, if Kakashi didn’t cut a bit of Obito’s mask, then he couldn’t crack down the most complex jutsu in Naruto; which is the kamui.
I said it a hundred times and I’ll say it again, if there wasn’t any Kakashi, Obito could have won the fourth great ninja war without any problems. That kunaii was the reason why Kakashi understood Obito’s jutsu, and was able to hit him.
And as for the second one, the type of kunai most effective in battle is probably this;
You can use it as a teleportation tool, also as a normal kunai. The FTG kunai is deadly when you combine it’s use as a kunaii with teleportation.
