It’s a lot of money for a pen knife.
I’d be happier with a blunt tip on the knife, and the removable glass breakers are very likely to get dropped and lost, especially in a rush. It looks fiddly to use with gloves on. Why do I want a bottle opener in a rescue tool?
I like that it locks and you can open it one handed. I like the colour, and anything with ‘rescue’ written on it is like the SAR version of ‘tactical’.
I’d get a basic water rescue knife for about 10quid, a Res-q-me, and a ordinary swiss army knife over this though.

I do not own one, preferring the 30+ year old original Leatherman I still wear on my belt when I am working. I like having pliers handy.
That said, it is always a good idea to have some tools handy, just in case.

I mean if you want to get it for your car for self-rescue? Yeah. seems like a good thing. On the other hand… I have a Gerber multi-tool that I carry while at work. The advantages?
Pliers
Wire cutter
Knife blade w/ serrations.
abililty to have an actual saw jigsaw blade of my choosing
Phillips-head screwdriver
Two different flathead screwdrivers
A pair of scissors
3-inch ruler
All in one package… Its a little more function for me with a little bit more safety for the patient due to the part that I’d use to cut the seatbelt (the scissors) being a semi-covered blade as opposed to the rescue tool’s open knifeblade.
Honestly, I could see it as a backup for a fire truck or an ambulance; but it would probably be used as often as the MAST trousers in my ambulance are (Read: I’ve never heard anyone use them in the previous 14 years I’ve been an EMT).
So… final opinion? Something to carry in your car to self-rescue in case of a crash? It seems like a good idea. In terms of use by EMT’s and firefighters? We have other options….
