For forks, spoons, knives for eating with, and other table utensils, the term is silverware (even if not actually silver). Other things get classed by material – glassware, plasticware, etc. These terms are more commonly used. Generally, if you’re looking for something, you will need to be more specific – unless you’re in a giant store, then “tableware is on Aisle 3” might be a perfectly reasonable thing to say.
