No non-stick surface lasts for long and so, it doesn’t matter how much you spend on it.
A non-stick frying pan is a waste of money, though. Skillful use of a stainless steel (with aluminum center) skillet makes sticking a non-issue.

Also, in a pinch, you can use it to defend yourself in a home invasion. I’m not saying that getting wacked in the head with an aluminum frying pan wouldn’t hurt, but do that with a similar sized cast iron pan. Your buggered.
