Yeah, you should definitely carry a knife. You will be surprised at the situations in which you find yourself needing one.
I can’t recount all the times I’ve pulled out my pocket knife to open something, or to make a cut.

I believe so but that is my opinion. EDC knives are a matter of personal preference. I guess if I were in a situation where I needed a knife then I would rather have on as not. Better to have and not need it than to need it and not have it.
