How valuable? It totally depends on the situation. I always take duct tape and paracord with me, as well as a knife. I use the knife all the time. The cordage and duct tape far less often. I still take it, because of how useful it is.
I’ll tell you this, some things can be left or taken, but all three of those go with me even in day hikes. From fishing, sewing, fixing torn pants or holes in a tarp or a tent, they are all multi use items that I wont be leaving without.
I recommend down sizing the duct tape my rolling it onto a stick or straw. That way it takes up less room and you can have several smaller ones.

There are many courses where this is all you are given. When it comes to all three the quality of each can make or break you. Not all duct tape is created equally. The “100 mile an hour tape” used by the military is best. Also the best cord is parachute cord which can be used for fishing line and snares by using the clear inner filliments.
The same goes for a good knife. One that comes with a shaping glass stone is best,

The knife and duct tape are. Rope isn’t useful, a small amount of cord (e.g. 3-4mm diameter) might be but I’d swap it for anything that makes fire.
A water-carrying container of any kind is very useful, and so is warm clothing or any kind of energy dense food.

Short answer: Very. If I could only has 3 things in a SHTF scenario; those 3 would probably be at or near the top of my list. A fire starter would be #2 ; knife #1, and a tarp #3, cordage #4 depending on the situation. Duct tape down around maybe #5 or 6. It comes in handy but other things can be more important.
