Does Freddy Krueger have two gloves?

It depends on which continuity you follow, and your interpretation of it.
In the first 5 movies, he only ever used one Glove, on his right hand. It changed style and design with each sequel (Special versions like the Blade fingers in Part 2 were not considered canon.) The Glove looked more and more stylized and ‘dirty’ with excessive solder splatters on the fingers and backplate as well as a ‘Starburst’ style fold pattern on the backplate in Nightmare 5 and Freddy’s Dead.
In Freddy’s Dead, in the hidden workshop of the basement at 1428 Elm, it was revealed that Freddy had used several different designs until he settled on the bladed handware we all know and fear. He had gloves with hookblade fingertips, nail studded punch knuckles, and even literal razors on the fingertips! (He also had the “Power Glove” which was his Freddy’s Dead Glove with an extra leather sleeve holding a Nintendo-esque control panel!)
There were three Gloves used in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, the “Terminator” style blade hand seen in the start of the movie for the revamped Nightmare movie, which was designed to replace his actual hand. The classic Glove, seen when Robert Englund did a Freddy cameo during Heather Lagenkamp’s TV interview, and the “”Bio-Organic Glove” that kind of resembled the skeletal Glove seen in the first movies poster, the glove looked like a skinned hand with bone protrusions, exposed veins and blades grafted into bone armatures in each finger, including the thumb.
Freddy had an all new Glove in the Nightmare reboot with Jackie Earl Haley, it was a more skeletal design with a wrist cuff, no backplate, and much thicker blades.
Finally, there was his guest appearance in Mortal Kombat 9. The story goes that he was pissed off that Shao Kahn (The big boss of the series) was stealing all the souls of Earth, which Freddy wanted for his own. He’d attacked Shao Kahn but was badly beaten. He retreated and designed a second glove for his other hand and infused both with demonic energies, increasing his powers and attacks. (But in reality, it was just easier to do this when reversing the image for a fighter on the right of the screen so they could just flip the character’s image!)
