Firstly, why is Aluminium so popular?

That is until they -maybe possibly- find otherwise like has happened to so many things that were once considered harmless.
Here is what I retained from my research…draw your own conclusions.
Aluminum is one of the most abundant minerals on earth.
it is present in small quantities in air, water, soil and most foods that you eat including fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, grains and dairy.
It can and will leach into foods when they are cooked or stored in aluminum containers, especially so for acid foods, but the combined levels ingested through alimentary aluminum (naturally present in the food) and whatever small amount leaches into your food from cooking or packaging in aluminum, are considered to be negligible. Furthermore aluminum is generally considered not bioaccumulated to a significant extent (other official wording). The large majority of what is ingested passes through feces.
The logic of it dictates that whatever is leaching from your cooking pots into your food cant be that much because aluminum pots last for years. My mom still cooks with aluminum pots that she got from her mom, whom had gotten them as a wedding gift in 1918. My grand mother raised 9 children so these pots were on the stove the whole day for the best part of 50 years and used regularly until now. So these pots are over 100 years old and still hold together. There cant be that much aluminum leaching out of them.
