While the clasps/hooks are typically made of metal, the quantity is too small tobset off an alarm by itself, so it shouldn’t cause any problems during your security screening.
P.S. The one in the picture might set off the alarm in some airports, due to abundance of (probably) metallic dedecorations.

I did one time with mine. I had metal clips and the girl at airport had a wand metal detector she ran it over me and it went off around my thigh. She ask me what I had I lifted my skirt a little and said it’s just my garter clip.

Generally speaking, no. For most garter belts the only metal they have would be the metal wires on the garter clasps, which typically isn’t enough to set the detector off. Though some garter belts are pull on others may hook in the back, or along the side, with the same hook and eye closures as a bra. Again, it’s not enough to set off the detector. However, I do have a couple of the retro garter belts that have metal stays in the front panel to prevent the waist from rolling. That may be enough to set the detector off. I’ve never tried going through a metal detector wearing one of mine with the stays.

I love to wear 6 and 8 strap garter belts with my Thigh Highs. I wear a underwire bra, silicon breast implants and cute panties. I am a businessman, so I am in male mode with these clothes under my regular Man clothing. Nobody knows although my breasts do show a bit if you are looking at them.
I enjoy getting pulled aside for the wanding and frisking. The between the underwire and the multiple metal buckles, the machine goes off and I get the frisk and wand. Personally I enjoy them doing it…. cheap thrill.

Not unless you’re planning on wearing one made of metal. If that’s the case, I hope you’re not on a long-haul flight, because that chaffing is going to get old pretty fast.
I suppose the hooks might be metallic. I think they’ll be too small to set off a metal detector, but if they do at least you’ll have a funny anecdote to tell when you get back.
