The Fairbairn Sykes, was a mass produced knife for commandos during the second world war. The steel was not brilliant and the knife was not easy to sharpen, also it could snap, depending on conditions.
There may be people , who today produce copies, using better steel, however, there are probably a load of copies made from even worse metal, than the originals.
Obviously I have not been able to try or test them all, but with limited experience to the copies : The Applegate Fairbairn, and the Gerber Mk 2, are well made similar knives.
However, If you are looking for the best available.. There is nothing better, than the Randals Mk 1 & Mk 2 They were made brilliantly, from day 1, and in my opinion, as a Dane, they are / were far superior to the Fairbairn Sykes, due to the Brit government, opting for cheap steel, at the time.
Unless you really need a serrated bit of blade, then back to the Gerber Mk 2.
The older Gerber mk 2 knives, have a short section of serrated blade, some of the modern copies, are allmost 50/50, which is not clever, due to snagging etc.

Yes. Official versions are still made by Sheffield and I just checked Knifecenter and they have them for about $70.00.
There are also various companies and custom makers making both reproductions and modern interpretations of this knife. These will cost more, sometimes in the hundreds of dollars.
The rarest but also most popular on knife forums is the Pattern 1 which has a S-shaped guard and is usually polished so it looks nicer.
Atlanta Cutlery has one hand forged in India by Windlass Steelcrafts for around $60.00 and Kris Cutlery has one hand forged in the Philippines for $45.00 but it has a wooden handle so it is not the classic design. Either should be good.
I have the one that Knifecenter sells. When I bought mine this was the only model in the under $200.00 price range aside from flea market junk.

30 seconds search on Google found me at least half a dozen companies in the US that do a reproduction of the Sykes Fairbairn. Prices seem to be somewhere between $50 and $60 US. As you seem to live in the US, there should be no problem for you in obtaining one.

Well Mr. R Hunter gave the definitive answer to your question. I can only add one of the custom makers who is an Facebook friend: MacDonald Armoires in Scotland. And I’m sure there’s a lot more.

There are many versions of the famous fighting knife as well as modified versions of the same. I’m lucky enough to have an original and know the quality of some of these reproductions are questionable. I’d avoid any blades from China and be very selective of Taiwanese fighting knives. Some are excellent and others are….well, just mentionable. Good luck on your purchase.
