Yup. Provided the pan doesn’t get hotter than 250C or so, you can. It’s the temperature of the pan not the level of heat that matters.
Particularly if the pan is full of water, or you only use high heat briefly, it’s all good.

This is not a good idea. Here is a temperature reading of a cast iron pot after 3 minutes on high for my electric stove.
Once I have reached that temperature, I simply turn it down to 2–3 on the stove dial for that burner. The temperature will actually go up a bit first, before stabilising.
Why is 250℃ important. This is the temperature that Teflon based coatings start to gas out and give out some toxic vapors. Eventually the finish will not work, if you continue using the non-stick pans on high heat.
Once you keep the stove dial in the lower half of the dial- 0–5 out of 10, your pans should retain the non-stick properties.
