I don’t recommend it. I took mine and it was bored the whole time. It wanted everything it saw, was rude to other customers, and knocked over a display of Vlasic pickles. What a mess.
Next time I am going to try Dick’s Sports.

As a customer I am sure yes. Well, I do not know about Target. I could probably count on one hand the times that I have been in a Target for anything other than comp pricing. Walmart would be no problem.
Now as an associate it is different. Any knife other than your company issued box cutter is prohibited. Nevertheless I carried mine for years and used it – it was just too useful not to. As far as I was concerned they should have been issuing one or something like it to sales floor associates.
One day I used it for something in the presence of a salaried manager. He took the knife from me and said that he would return it at the end of my shift but if he ever saw me with one again I would be terminated.
After a few weeks I asked him if I could bring it in after breaking off the blades. That was OKed and I still have that Swiss Army toolset with the knives broken off.

Unless you’re walking around, brandishing your knife some sort of sword, how would they know you have one? I routinely carry two knives on me at all times, unless I’m attending an event like a concert or sporting event where I know I’ll be barred from entering with any form of weapon. Carried them both while I worked for Target and Walmart. No one ever knew.
