Sure, why not? I have two in my truck. You can have a gun, if you want. There’s no law against it, although you need to be aware of states without reciprocity.
In fact, I would say you should have have a knife in your truck, amongst all the rest of your tools. You never know when you might need it.
And while I’m thinking about it, everyone should have a lighter, even if you don’t smoke. You never know when you might need some fire.

You’ll have to look into the legalities as far as lengths go in certain states in the US but yes. I carry this one everyday. There’s a million and one uses to have one other than protection especially if you run open deck. Other countries may vary of course.

Yes. I also have a gun. I opted for revolver because there’s less regulation and got permits for every state I travel to (the ones that require permit, atleast) you can have whatever you want in your truck.. you just may have to jump through some hoops and your company might have a problem with it… but as far as the law is concerned, it’s a non issue. Just don’t get a double edged or butterfly or otf blade.. don’t get anything that’s illegal in any state you might drive to.
